Turtle’s name represents the pace he takes in life. You cannot see the flower on the side of the road, moving at 70mph. Perhaps this is the very reason his path lead him to Yellowstone Country. He has been here for the past 15 years, and during this time Yellowstone has affirmed his thoughts of what beauty can be seen when you slow down to a turtle’s pace. He originally found Yellowstone Country whilst hitch hiking around the country for three years. Immediately he fell in love with the area and believed that this is where he wanted to spend the rest of his days.
“In many ways I feel myself to be involved in the family business. By Summer time I own a small jewelry and hand engraving business which I create, design, and build family heirloom pieces. During the winter I guide snowmobiles into Yellowstone Park, providing a canvas in which to paint a once-in-a-lifetime memory for families. I am honored to also be apart of Made In Big Sky artist Co-op, or how we so affectionately call it ‘MIBS’. “
