Anne Woodruff draws her inspiration for her watercolor paintings from her hikes up mountain trails. She soaks up the soft light of dawn taking time to notice how the light and shadows dance among the leaves and pine needles of the trees. Anne tries to capture the soft breeze carrying the aromas of sage, pine, and wild flowers in her paintings. Her main focus is water color painting but she also gathers wild flowers for her cards and creates kitchen hot pads and pet beds made from her husband’s weathered blue jeans.
